Reflections (Magnetic)
Reflections, is from the new Winter Collection 2024 by Cadillacquer. This nail polish has teal to purple magnetic micro flakes in a very sparkly deep reddish color shifting shimmer base. This one is quite the chameleon.
A few words from Cadillacquer maker, Madeleine, to explain the inspiration for this beautiful collection: "This collection is very dear to my heart. I‘ve been suffering from chronic pain since more than a year and it’s especially bad when I work a lot, so I needed more help from friends and family in this time. These colors are inspired by this time, with all its ups and downs and dedicated to eveyone who helped me. The names are mostly from song lyrics."
The magnetic effect with these polishes is acheived using a Magnet Tool.

Application
A magnet tool is required to acheive the magnetic effect. When using a magnet, every layer (including your top coat) should be magnetized for best results. Polish can be worn magnetized or unmagnetized.
Apply 2-3 coats of polish or 1 coat over a creme black (or any colour) base.
A base coat can prevent staining (especially for darker shades) and top coat can prolong the wear time and minimize chipping.
The utmost care is taken to ensure that product pictures match the real color of the polish. Please note that colors can appear different on different device screens.

I'm not great with larger particle or glitter magnetics. I only buy them if they also look great unmagnetized. This was easier to work with than most glitters. Coverage is great. I didn't need a creme base.

I added more photos because I couldn't decide which was best, since the polish is showing a bit differently in each.
Wow, this is a beautiful, colourful polish! The magnetic effect can be difficult to make out, depending on the magnet used. There's just a lot of colour and sparkle going on and if the magnet isn't strong enough, the pull gets drowned out.
I used three coats for my photos. The first photo is with flash, the second is with sunshine through my window, and the last two are without flash/just ambient light.

This magnetic micro flakes so sparkly. It has a color shifting shimmer base and done on the velvet style you can see red, pink, purple, pale blue, teal and green.
