Thermal Nail Polish: Colour-Changing Magic
Thermal nail polish changes colour in response to temperature - cold hands show one shade, warm hands reveal another. Run them under cold water, step outside in winter or grab a hot coffee and watch the shade transform.
How Thermal Polish Works
Thermal polishes contain heat-reactive pigments which are what make these shades change colour. Below the activation temperature (usually around body temperature), the polish shows its "cold" colour. As the temperature rises, the pigment becomes transparent, revealing the "warm" colour underneath. The effect is fully reversible and happens dozens of times a day on your fingertips.

Tips for Best Results
- Apply 2-3 thin coats for maximum colour contrast
- Use a white or light base coat for brighter, more vivid transitions
- Seal with a non-heat-reactive top coat to preserve the effect
- Store upright, away from direct sunlight
- Thermal pigments can have a limited shelf life, so be sure to wear it often!
